3. Chris ACT: Gotta agree with you Steve. I've been rocking Guitar Rig 5.0 for a while now with a full range setup on stage. Upgrading to Helix and Variax JTV59 in the next month which will make it even simpler, sound better, more versatile and I can ditch the laptop. It's taken a long time for this kind of virtual amp and guitar modelling to get to the point where it's really not a tonal compromise to use it. In fact the versatility of the new tech means it's just the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I love tube amps and classic guitars but short of having a truck for myself and a warehouse to store it all and a full time road crew, this new gear is the only way to go.
4. 4 eh: your awesome my friend! and there's a lot of truth on what your saying... by the way how do you hook up the HD500X into the L2? cable wise from rear to rear of both units? thnx for the awesome vids btw....
5. Daniel Hernandez: I'm on the fence about getting an l2 moniter and just doing away with a guitar amp am together. I've recently just purchased the hd500x and I'm amazed by the sound I can get going directly into the p.a. I think after seeing this l2 is the way to go.
6. StringGene: Dude is right. Got my HD500X and am blown away. Selling all of my other stuff. Even if I don't go direct, and have  two 1x12 cabs and drive them with a Crate Power Block, 4.6 pounds, 75X75 watts, and sounds like a metric TON. My back is very happy too:)
