- Wolfsongarn: +Wizzlo Andersen Not that one, the purple/green is Legion(I own it) That one I think is set dungeons.
- Richard Hewat: Oh, and for speed farming, lose the Aquila Cuirass for Depth Diggers, throw on some Illusory Boots using a RoRG in place of the Unity, and drop Unstable Anomaly for Galvanising Ward(an extra 120% life of shield to deal with the 75% dmg reduction you take off plus its perma for tanking a few hits while rounding up a mass for slaughtering) and you can do T10 in 5ish minutes with unoptimised gear just with SB. Plus who doesn't like the idea of a 4m health shield when you only have 1 1/2M health? attacking refreshes the stacking shield and as long as nothing actually gets through, the shield from Galvanising Ward will refresh it back up to 120% every 5s.
- ognava: Surely blur would be stronger than unwavering will?
- Dominic: I'm pretty sure there halo and illusionist proc isn't prior to mitigation, but damage absorbed with the shields does count towards the threshold. So sometimes your health won't move and its still gonna proc

- cjkone978: Asianiscool1 b.s. if you have good gear, and your follower is properly equipped, it can still get into the 80's. My gear for this set isnt the greatest and i did a 76 with 7 mins left. And thats even without explosive blast, i was using MW deflection instead.

- hunter osborne: I've seen other DMO wizards for 2.4. I just now realized that there is only one passive skill on the bar. When you compare this to older wizard builds where it would only be disentagrate or arcane orb and then 4 passive skills and an oh shit button.
- hopp: +szalma94 this was recorded on PTR, GR88+ is an estimation of this build's potential in season 5. By the way you could do higher and higher greater rifts in each season than the last, that's one of the things driving the seasons, so why would you need a nerf? The only bad thing about that is T10 becoming completely obsolete just like T6 was back in the day, but I don't think it's that much of a problem. Paragon 2k+ on non-season is a bigger problem in my opinion.

Either everything drops dead on sight or nothing happens at all and the arcane bubbles keep circling around me as if they dont recognise me standing in a horde of monsters...this build doesnt run smoothly at all. unless of course I am missing something entirely. - Raven: You TRY-um-vir-ant-ED! Btw, unless the d3 database is wrong, Halo can totally get quadfecta, since it's set rolls are a socket and an INT roll, and since Convention also has to roll well on it's secondary, I would argue that it's more likely to get a usable Halo than convention.

Specifically, do you want to wait for all 5 arcane dynamo stacks every time, or just spam it constantly? Seems like a waste to override an arcane dynamo stacked AO with a non-stacked AO. 2) How does attack speed interact with Arcane Orbit? Does it make them blow up faster/more frequently, or is it calculated into damage, or is it just useless?

- Cameron Carson: +Richard Hewat for speed farming you should be using either Quin's S4 Goku Monk or his S5/PTR One Punch Monk builds. Nothing is faster. That's why he's using Monk as his secondary character.

But the One Punch Monk build blows everything including the old Uliana's speed build away by a pretty wide margin. Although you'll probably need to use the old builds to farm until you can complete the gear for the OPM build as it is a Litany build, which requires ancient versions of the gear.

- Rogoth01 The Master Wizard: it is actually possible to get a "GG" halo of arlyse, it is just extremely rare due to forced roll on crit chance/int/socket, so the 1 primary stat that is a random roll needs to be crit dmg and high value at that so you can roll the int off for area dmg/attack speed/CDR depending on needs.

- Kalvin Krigbaum: Tal rasha with aether walker and cosmic strand in the cube is really fast. Use blizzard apocalypse with toxin and PE gems to blanket everything with dots and then skip right along. You can accommodate sage set into the build easily if you want to farm db's too. Speed is on par with monk.

- Richard Hewat: +Quin C , I'm curious of your opinion, and maybe I can give you some ideas :D I've been playing around with something similar, but I think with higher dmg output and survivability against solo targets and a little less survivability vs trash packs. I'm using Fragment of Destiny, Magic Weapon:Deflection and Ashnagarr's Blood Bracer meaning that compared to your build I lose the stacking 12% dmg reduction but gain 8x the shield and spectral blades do 6x the dmg of your build. Unity instead of Halo means that conditional 60% dmg reduction from Orb of Infinite Depth is replaced with a permanent 50% and Magic Weapon is giving me 10% dmg permanently instead of the conditional 20%. So lower dmg reduction and AO dmg against whites/blues but higher against RGs/purples/golds, get a rather shiny shield, I lose EB and the extra dmg on SB should more than make up for the loss from AO and EB on trash and be a significant dmg increase against solo targets. (If my quick mathing while watching this is accurate) Shame that skill AS doesn't effect stricken stacking, now wouldn't that be something? Also 'Opus' not 'Optus' - no diablo phone for you! you can just deal with the music :p

Both increases are at least worth the same (with the 20% allres maybe being more valuable), simply because it is a multiplicative increase of a factor 1.2. You can actually test this using your spreadsheet by multiplying only your allres by 1.2 and check the damage reduction and compare it with the case in which you multiply only your armor by 1.2. Beside this, good work! I am not sure on the following because I don't know if the 20% armor increase stacks additively or multiplicatively with the 25% percent, but in case it stacks additively, you actually get the most relative damage reduction from the 20% allres and not from the 20% armor increase (which you kind of said in this video).

The super OP part of that ability is it doesnt need to 'hit' to trigger the shield. I really hope blizz never decide to change that either, lol.

They use the Ancient Parthans Bracers as opposed to the Reapers Wraps which would help a crap ton with survivability. As much as I know it's low in comparison, I've been able to speed farm GR70 with the twister build without issue and barely take damage. I love the Arcane Orb build too though. I just prefer the Twister build at least at this moment.

Wouldnt focus/restraint be better since you could easily maintain a 2.5 multiplier rather than a 3 time multiplier that is only possible 1/4 of the time IF you are standing still?

Arcane Orbit is the highest per cast damage rune for Arcane Orb by a rather comfortable margin - roughly 15% higher than Scorch (including its DoT), 200% higher than Spark or Frozen Orb and 50% higher than Obliteration which is the go to rune for spamming. If he was spamming it all other runes would do more damage but then he would lose the 50% dmg reduction from Aquilla Cuirass Which he sorely needs. +MikeSakaru that too since the SB spam is giving him all of his sustain while AO does the damage

If we're using Arcane and Fire exclusively, we have a buff to one of the two elements we use 50% of the time. 1/4 of the time we will have a buff to our already impressively damaging Arcane Orb. If you time your Explosive Blast with the Fire rotation, you may see increased damage of Explosive Blast, but combined with 1/4 150-200% bonus to Arcane and 1/4 150%-200% bonus to Fire, you'll see about a 25% bonus to overall Arcane damage, and only about a 12% bonus to Fire damage, considering you'll have to spend time waiting for the cycle to land on fire, and that Explosive Blast isn't a major damage dealer in higher rifts. Overall, the DPS gain for the ring is about 40% when examined over a period of time (I did 3 iterations of 10 minutes). But its very bursty and is not consistent.

That means a level 60 gem will give you 300 main stat. So 300 x 12 = 3600 main stat through the gems. So yea, surviving one shots will be your priority as damage and all resistance will be taken care of.

- Jerstah phucku: For some reason I thought focus / restraint gave more than a 50% boost per ring, so now I can see that the overall DPS is greater with travelers / CoE, since the travelers set is just as good as focus / restraint with an alternate condition. I never wanted to use travelers pledge with focus and restraint. It is possible with the cube, however I would be missing out on the halo. I was thinking something along the lines of Focus / Restraint / Hellfire Amulet / Cube Halo. Now that I see Focus Restraint is only 100% while using / generating arcane within 5 seconds, it nice and easier to maintain. The damage that you are missing out on is the 200% increase for 1/4 of the time. I have tested out CoE and while I dont like the feel of it, I do like that 1/4 of the time, my completely garbage, unrolled gear with no gems and missing pieces, makes my Arcane Orb (obliteration) crit for 8 billion twice. I can only image what it does with an optimized set. So now im contemplating laziness (easier) vs. learning the time cycle of CoE. I think ill continue playing with it until the cycles are in muscle memory. Thanks for your reply, sorry to confuse you.

- Richard Hewat: +Daniel Cooper I posted a similar build to this that does T10s in 5 minutes unoptimised just before I read this. Other wizard builds simply cannot compete. That said WDs and DHs with their movement speed buffs do it in half that time. I was doing around 3ish minutes a T10 rift while screwing around with PTR WD builds - that average is with pretty much every build, not just the 'best' WD farming build, and I tried out a lot :)

- Euphytose: Playing with a slow time wiz as a melee character is asking to die. Whenever I play with a buddy of mine using this set I have to use the lightning immunity amulet or I get insta procced by electrify. And the next step for me is permadeath. Would be quite shameful to be killed by a teammate.

I haven't done much testing with either, but i believe that was the case.

- DaveDFFA: +Jerstah phucku It's because the halo ring is REQUIRED. If you aren't freezing the targets, you're getting wrecked by damage, and the bracers mitigate even more of that damage thanks to halo.
