    1. Rory McCallum: Im absolutely loving the new spider v. I am going to order the Spider V 240. Line 6 has hit this out of the park. Someone said the Spider V uses the Firefox engine. That would be amazing if that rumour is true. Ty Line 6 for making such a great product. I'll be using the spider v to go direct as I record 5 albums worth of material.

Dan Willmott: Unfortunately line6 has not done this amp justice again with the sound demo, this amp really does sound great, if you want to hear a polished review with descent tones, check out the Andertons review of the 120w version. Really wish line 6 would take more time to show the various tones this amp is really capable of. I say this as a long time line 6 user. Great sounding full range amp

    3. Chris ACT: Gotta agree with you Steve. I've been rocking Guitar Rig 5.0 for a while now with a full range setup on stage. Upgrading to Helix and Variax JTV59 in the next month which will make it even simpler, sound better, more versatile and I can ditch the laptop. It's taken a long time for this kind of virtual amp and guitar modelling to get to the point where it's really not a tonal compromise to use it. In fact the versatility of the new tech means it's just the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I love tube amps and classic guitars but short of having a truck for myself and a warehouse to store it all and a full time road crew, this new gear is the only way to go.
    4. 4 eh: your awesome my friend! and there's a lot of truth on what your saying... by the way how do you hook up the HD500X into the L2? cable wise from rear to rear of both units? thnx for the awesome vids btw....
    5. Daniel Hernandez: I'm on the fence about getting an l2 moniter and just doing away with a guitar amp am together. I've recently just purchased the hd500x and I'm amazed by the sound I can get going directly into the p.a. I think after seeing this l2 is the way to go.
    6. StringGene: Dude is right. Got my HD500X and am blown away. Selling all of my other stuff. Even if I don't go direct, and have  two 1x12 cabs and drive them with a Crate Power Block, 4.6 pounds, 75X75 watts, and sounds like a metric TON. My back is very happy too:)

    All electric guitar models were recorded into ProTools® HD with an Apogee® AD-16X converter with 3 microphones 2 inches from the grill and offset 2 inches from the center of the cone: A Shure® SM57 into a BAE 312A (Brent Averill's version of an API® 312); a Royer® 121 into a Chandler TG channel; a Beyer 160M into a Chandler TG channel.
