Then again, so is being able to enchant an item to change one of its effects. All in all, the game constantly makes it easier and easier to have a strong character. That's just the nature of the game.

- michael stillwell: +Azure Gearsts its surpassed d2 - d2 is old and dead and (as classic as it was and as much time i spent on it) id rather play d3, no need to mule gear, no big bugged ass chars, PVP was better in d2 obviously - but thats about it (and d2's soundtrack) but beside that d3 is superior (at this point) sorry I dont agree all this love for d2 a 16 year old dated dead game that (while classic no doubt) it had MANY flaws, muling/character pops/limited lvling process (i actually like paragon) it cant hurt or hinder to have no cap on lvl's - further more stupid stuff like d2's loot system (sorrry Id rather have d3's where I get my drops specifically for my screen/my character) no need to compete, no need to have inventory full of books of TP and books of IDentify (or scrolls) or rows of pots, and charms, runewords were cool, soundtrack was cool - the atmosphere to d2 was nice, and the PVP system was nice but sorry d3 has achievements, continual lvling process, ADVENTURE MODE (why didnt they think of that back in d2, instead of JUST doin the specific campaign acts) problem with d2 is just exactly that (and allt he other shit I listed above) its flawed, (both games are) but d2 has more flaws, well it figures cause its an older game running on a diff graphics engine, diff group that developed it, its classic I wont deny and I spent alot of time on d2 on/off thru the years, but sorry d3's login/logout, friends list, jumping into a game, chatting with friends, achievement system, paragon system, rift/grift system, loot 2.0 system (easy to gear up and start a build within a day or so) call it dumbed down, but I Call it casual to mid-casual, you can put some serious time in if you want, but you dont have to - you can play it at your own pace, I like the GUI of the friends list (wow style) and things like auto-join oh and the fact that you dont have to worry about your account perma-death if you dont log-in every few months, all blizz's games/accounts are now merged into 1 Blizz/Battle.net account making even the login/logout process simplified, all these things, better graphics (not that visuals make or break a game, I realize that but) hey it doesnt hurt sorry I'm one of the ones that is content with d3 (in its current 2.2, and soon to be 2.3 model) and I wouldnt go back to d2, nor would I play POE (despite having tried it) Path OF exile=a wanna be d2, and THATS EXACTLY what I DONT want, unlike most of the d2 community that wished for another d2 but w/ updated mechanics, I actually wanted d3 to be like it is, I wanted a more colorful, more streamlined/mainstream/casual/but still fun to play and can invest serious time if you want-game, and I got it with d3, call it what you want (dont care, i wont read any responses never do) but I consider d3 to be a major improvement upon almost EVERY mechanic, other then soundtrack/PVP - and really thats all the d2'fanboys ever say "oh it had a better atmosphere (butthead laugh) huh uhu huh uh and and it had a better soundtrack/darker atmosphere, SO WHAT ? I dont play these games for 1) graphics 2) storyline or 3) soundtrack (those things HELP obviously with the immersion) but for me its not game-breaking, I'd rather have kanai cube over runewords, I'd rather have rift/grift/achievements over d2 PVP, id rather have d3 visuals/more destroyable objects then d2's system/in-game mechanics, I'd rather have witch doctor/sader then trapsin or light javazon - I like the MORE exploreable areas of d3, I like the waypoint system, how easy it is (with banners) to find someone, 1 single (bottomless) pot is all you need, I mean I can continue on with a laundry list of why I think d3 is better, ok time to get back on game, go enjoy d2 and its 16 years (its dated, lets not beat a dead horse anymore folks) its gone, whats left is spammers, bots, and very very dated mechanics - it was a classic for its time (and I spent 100s of hours in d2 hell even the original diablo as well as most of the blizz's titles over the years including warcraft 1,2,3 and WoW as well as SC, and SC2 and the more recent HOTS) but I enjoy d3 over them all (its just me) argue it all you want, its mere opinion/taste - plenty of ppl just like me that enjoy d3, and have "0" interest in ever going back to d2, no reason to...id get bored too quickly

- Trill Macmillan: The problem with the cost is people say they are low but they are not. Unless you are a paragon 1000 + no lifer/botter you wouldn't have thousands of resources to infinitely re-roll items all day. Many people have jobs and responsibilities in life so basing the cost of the cubes recipes on those 5% of people who are paragon 1000+ is not good for the game as a whole.

- Max M.: So as a monk player I could then use Crudest Boots affixe with 2 FireAllys or AirAllys on armor, any good Weapon Affix: as In Geom or Furnace or Flying Dragon (or with patch 2.3 SSS Diabo with cdr reduced by 60%) plus another affix for ring resp. amulett. maybe RORG to equip 6peace Raiment and 2 Peace innas with all 4 Mantras and Focus/restraint =P ?!? sounds tempting. another Idea that I had is to use this armor affix with 100% ChC, when under 25% hp, cut all life reg to maintain this life amount, use mass CDR equip, with Serenity and then be in GOD mode + crit on every hit =P When does 2.3 air ? take care bro, keep up the good work !

- knytestorme: The main benefit to the upgrade rare recipe is for classes like wiz and wd that allows them to gamble for a specific type of 1 hander...for example if a wiz wants to be running a wand then it will be easier to take a rare wand and gamble to get the version you want than gamble at Kadala and see axe, axe, sword etc with no wand appearing.

Imagine crafting 2h yellows and then gambling till you got a Furnace, then rerolling it to Ancient... Possibilities Endless!!

I've been hunting for a serpent sparker for a very long time and it seems like you could just keep chucking rare wands in the cube until you get one. Am I missing something?

- fatalis arx: the cube looks very attractive thing on the new patch coming soon. that nice! but this is PTR .. and there is a huge buff of legendary drop items! and you will notice once season 4 come live.. every body will be struggling about farming the items to use with the cube! and i guess we will need really specific items for specific affix ! so its gonna be hard when using a really good ancient items for transmute!!!! any ideas ? thx :)

- Emre Bener: 12:48 thats not about you are monk and you need green gems, wizards need topaz. you have tons of green gem already, we all already have tons of gems that we need. thats for enchants. sometimes people runs out uf emerald and topaz for example i ran out of emerald some month ago and my other gems were like 4-5k but i dont know why emerald was out of stock ^^ its for enchants so. but ofc for new players it can be useful to get maxed gems.

- TKCGaming: Just an update to the cube for anyone who sees this video. The transmuting set items no longer grants ancients and the set has to have at least 3 pieces to it. So clearly it was nerfed because of Quin =p haha jk
