oldRaven: +destroyal3222 got the right rune in diamond skin? Explosive blast should cost 11 ap/s with diamond skin on, which I can spam at least for a minute through with 0 ap on crit. That being said I have the templar mana reg passive, not sure if he uses any follower at all. A bit ap on crit should do the trick either way.

There's also a Chinese player doing high 70 GR's with a different WoH build using Aether Walker over in-geom, Leoric's crown for high cdr on Explosive Blast, and Parthan defender's since Teleport's calamity rune stuns. He most likely skips elites haha.

The talrasha amu converting tal gear to get something even kinda useful and the best I could end up with was 750 int,67%chd, and 10% chc. between trying to get the damn thing in the first place with only one stat to replace was impossible and then trying to replace a garbage stat with chc I must have run through over a 1000 db and fs's and still ended up with something mediocre.

Triggerboy78: +Joe Shopper thats exactly what i thought... you need at least 9 special items to make it work... 6 pieces tal set, goldwrap, WoW, Ingeom... some pretty rare items. I have 1 piece Tal, thats all... in the meantime i got 2 complete FB-sets and a complete DOM-set... so in the meantime goin with DOM... works pretty good too and its much more solid in grifts, cause with no gold-drops goldwrap does nothing and you lose your complete def :)
Marc G: Is this still viable in 2.4.1?
Myrmidon: I had good results for survivability without goldwrap (haven't got mine yet) by replacing storm armor with energy armor with the force armor rune. It's not ideal and you still need to be careful, but it avoids some of the instakills you would otherwise get. I was struggling to farm TX on my Wastes/IK barb and this works amazingly well, thanks so much for the inspiration!
paixaocaio: After playing around with this build, i gotta say every "This is 100% necessary for this build" is completely bullshit, you can play this build in alot of different ways.

John Redwood: Also, to increase DB farming - I swapped out the head and feet for the Sage set pieces, used GoldWrap in cube, with nemesis braces on, so you need tal rashas belt for that extra set piece - You lose the 4 set firebirds set however but for Torment X farming ti was still fast as hell.

Some people enjoy playing casually, and have no desire to push a game's engine to its limits, which is fine. Other people enjoy breaking a game down to its core and steamrolling it... For them, this is what they find fun. As far as there is new content, these players will continue to break games down, because that is what they enjoy doing. These are the same players that will sit and session the shit out of a game, because they enjoy doing it. By your rationale, if everyone played one way, there would be no amazing speedruns, soloing bosses in certain games wouldn't be a thing, and hell, even cheat codes from yesteryear that activate god mode would have never existed. If someone pays for a game its up to them how they want to enjoy it. You have your ways, they have theirs.

Truth is Truth: This reminds me of the carpal tunnel... I mean the CM/WW build way back when.
Nivrax: +nssheepster The only bug it has is positive (24 stacks from tagging elite staying up until you kill another elite with fire damage), 6p on white mobs only procs with infinite dot which won't happen due to them having low hp until you start pushing GRifts. Once you do that you'll notice it works properly, but Tals/Archon is better at that and DMO straight destroys it. For most part treat 4p FB as 'fire skills do double damage' and 6p 'you do extra 600% against elites'. And yeah, this makes rework terrible. I though it will be fun aggroing and burning screens for mobs for damage buff, but instead it's really slow set designed for GRifts only (and overnerfed so it's bad there as well). Even with Ancient Deathwish, Ethed Sigil, Fire Twister with pulling bracers and +25% channeling shoulders it is still really bad and sluggish compared to melee Tal/DMO with normal Unstable Scepter and Triumvirate.

Lavos2007: +Nugget Ned all noncombat Pets now pick up gold for you...in the 2.4 PTR it was originally only the Treasure Murkgoblin pet from the Blizzcon ticket...but they changed it on release to be ALL pets...so provided you have at least ONE noncombat pet you can equip in the Wardrobe/Customization menu...itll pick up gold FOR you...also its possible he also ahs decent +Pickup Radius which has a notable effect if you can get +6 or so Pickup Radius off gear...youll pick up stuff that isnt directly next to you so you just have to run near it

But it has a limit on how high of a GR you can do solo. Use this set to farm for an ancient Delsere set and switch over to it

Wally West: So this is pretty much what Diablo 3 mat-farming would look like if Blizzard would get off their ass and put in an auto-loot system for us. But that's asking too much. Unfortunately, the reality is a lot less appealing when you have to stop and pick up Death Breath's every 5 seconds, especially when you're building around an item like In-Geom.
D.M.P.: The firebird starter set is such a piece of shit I can't even farm t6 with it while all my buddies who rolled monk/barb/dh shot to t8-9 totally killed my motivation for this season.

What you see here is by no means the hardest content, and this playstyle wouldn't last a second at the more challenging stuff (aka Greater Rifts) where the things you mention plays an important role for survival.

gutek150: hey there quin , i have used a similar setup but 6 pieces of tal-rasha (i use the belt as well ) , instead of the firebird source i use orb of infinite depth(only 2 piece of firebird for the revive, the burn doesnt really seem to do much ). In kanai's cube i have obsidian ring to help me clear when im not on elite streak , and for the armor choice i have aquilla cuirass as i use the lightning armor with lower cost together with lower cost diamond skin to have aquilla up at all times, the damage and sustain increased dramatically ! i was able to do grift 55 , it may not be great but my gear is still pretty sub-par :)
TheMirrorYouDeserve: Its not a 3rd party program. and u cant get banned for it.You can set your spell on numlock 1 for example and then lock it, so its automatically cast the whole time. Quin C made a video about that.
Lavos2007: +runescape692 grats...i never found a Wizardspike till a month ago...and it was a Rare Upgrade...it was also Ancient! Wand of Woh and Wizardspike...the only 2 items existing prior to 2.4 for wizard thati have NEVER found as loot or via Kadala...odd that Wizardspike supposedly has a decent drop %, not super high, but nowhere close to as rare as Wand of Woh or even certain other weapons working on upgrading rares to get a Woh hopefully...provided i dont loot 1 first

KubanitoS: +Kent Henry Instead of using Firebird's Source, use Orb of Infinite Depth (+Tal Rasha belt). That will protect you in low mob intensity rifts. I also prefer Nemesis Bracers over Warzechian Armguards. Getting an elite pack with every pylon seems way more useful compared to some faster movement, and finally I use Goldwrap in the Cube. I also prefer the Focus + Restraint combo. With these items the build offers more than just serious fast rift clears in right map types. You can also easily do around GR60. You just have to swap out the Goldwrap with Aquira Cuirass and swap the gold gem with Esoteric Alteration. With this setup I did GR60 in 7 minutes.

SmugLookingBarrel: For the second ring slot, obsidian ring of the zodiac might work, you're hitting so often, this will help with in-geom downtime. Also, this seems like a great set for farming DB, just swap out some firebirds for 2 pieces of sage, use the corruption shoulders and talrasha source

Here's my stupid question....if you're speed farming, do you simply clear it all and then go back and grab up gold/legenderies/Set Pieces/Death Breath...etc. Or do you just grab the important stuff and keep going.

Lars: +FrostFlame8888 If you know how to play it won't be a problem. I've done GR60 with it, because I needed to upgrade a gem quick, but I still recommend and prefer to use my DMO for that high GR. But as most people know you need to level a ton of gems this season, so you can put them into your armor and the fastest way to do this is by doing lower GRs and paying the extra gold for getting an additional chance to upgrade gems. (On GR35 it's about 10 million) which isn't a lot and that way you can level them to 25 with 100% and then go to GR45 and pay a little bit more and do it over. Using this method Wand of Woh is by far the best compared to DMO, Vyrs and Firebirds.

authenticx1: Way late I know so maybe it was the case back in January but, two things I find incorrect in this guide. 1. The ten minute shrine affect does not work in rifts or greater rifts. 2. The 1st and the 3 consecutive explosions from EB are area damage because of the rune. The last 3 from the WoH are item damage.
Robert Fierce: +breed law that's the wrong way to farm an item. You must do rifts non stop until you drop it. And I asure you that you will drop it. It's a numbers game. Eventually it will drop. I got my first WoH after 1 full day of farming rifts. Shards are used for gear because the buy/drop chance is higher than for weapons and it's virtually 3 times cheaper per item.

Thus the hardest difficulty becomes the quickfarm and Greater rifts are where you will find the real builds where people have to play with caution and avoid getting outshot.

cryoboy: +Kent Henry I never use Goldwrap. Just get 1 (or both) of the shield passives and maybe Energy instead of Storm Armor. And using the Talrasha belt let's you use the Orb Of Infinite Depth which gives a lot of toughness. Then you just need 50%+ CDR (as he said, it's extremely important, I run with 60%) and you will kill stuff by just running past it even without the Ingeom proc. I do GR55-60s in about 3-5 Minutes with it. If you have crappy gear or low paragon and still feel too squishy you could even use the shield-doubling bracers instead of Warzechians. Or Aquila Cuirass instead of Nemesis bracers. Get creative and don't just copy everything you see on youtube without thinking.
Sean May: +ConceptNull It increases the # of DB's that drop per pack by 1(when one even drops) - it does not double the drop. Given that you can get 2 off of a pack at higher rift levels, if it were to double them you'd be seeing drops of 4, which isn't how it works. If 2 were to drop normally, you'd see 3 w/ Sage's set.

Any"woh" I tweaked this setup a bit and found a pretty neat combo that didn't require Goldwrap but still maintained survivability for t10 runs. Went for 6 piece Tal Rasha set bonus, 2 piece Firebird, finishing off with Depths orb, having Elemental ring and Cindercoat in the cube shot the DPS in the roof, not needing the 4 piece set bonus brought by Firebirds. Kinda neat. Thanks for a great guide (as always) Q-man.

I swapped electrocute for blizzard (lightning) and use arcane hydra to proc arcane stacks. Obviously I´m not using focus / restraint but rather zodiac / CoE. Guess it doesn´t really matter what skills you´re using, it´s just my way to play it. But the idea behind it is just awesome!

Lars: +Josh T When you use Zodiac you will drop in-geom in cube and use Aether Walker instead, that means you won't have to reset the cooldown on Teleport with Zodiac. Now you don't reduce the cooldown on Storm Armor, so that isn't a problem as you mention. That leaves Explosive Blast and Frost Nova left, Frost Nova isn't needed to be spammed all the time, because you one shot with Explosive Blast. You just need to use it once every 8 seconds to keep up the Tal Rasha buff and use it for elites and boses when you need to deal more damage with your meteors.

Luke Fluxcapacitor: thx for the guide. i made an adaption for my need of DBs... i dont use firebirds but rather Sages Set (Boots + Helm). i run Corruption as shoulder for + pickup and Tal Offhand since i need another slot to be tal instead of head - other than that it's the same build. Corruption + Sages are easyly crafted to ancient ones with the needed stats. i run a nonancient 1H + Offhand and still rush through rifts. Flash Fire is a little bit faster but Sage Fire gives you more DBs ;)

So far this season I just managed to get over 600 yesterday(day 6 of season) via the monk U6 build (really glad they upped the lion claw EP damage). But it kind bugs me when you say things are not really all that high. 600 paragons is actually a fairly high number for casual players. 80 is HUGE for gems considering that some gems are maxed at 50. While I really appreciate the rest of the video, throwing in those comments is basically a slap in the face to any casual player. I would enjoy your videos more if I knew all the hard work I put into my game wasn't going to be insulted with a casual dismissal of all the effort I've put in. Again, thanks for all the work you put into these.

Once it's at 4 all you have to do is alternate casting 2 different spells, doesn't matter which, in order to keep the tal rasha buff at its max, 4.

I'm not trying to bash people that pour their free time into the game, but the season has been out for like a week at this point, and people are already basically back to where they were before the seasons rolled over. Sure, new sets and builds are amazing, but...there's a point where you have to ask if it's fun anymore. I love playing D3, pretty casually, and I have my fun. But when clearing the hardest challenges in the game becomes a trivial chore, or really just an inevitability, is it really worth it to play anymore? I understand that some will disagree with me here, but video games were made for fun, not to be broken and beaten with ease. And when time is the only limiting factor to some people basically winning the game...

I remember doom used to be fun, If you have the new generation play it now, they'll think it sucks because headshots aren't insta-kill. Diablo 3 lasting appeal is a few weeks, then you wait for a new season and try out a new build, rinse and repeat. some people are paragon 2000. I don't understand it...do game streamers get paid so well that they play 12 hours a day?

Mic_Glow: +Bytemare77 just did a 50 with a slightly modified build.. p300, crappy weapon (not a woh, just a sword without any affix), and missing about 100 chd- paragon, ring and amulet.. it was a bit of a pain thou, I instagib on first elite pack.. twice, than with in-geom up it was easy rift, and than almost died on the RG.. I imagine with all ancient gear, p600+ proper weapon and more build tweaking gr 60 is possible, but "higher gr" for this season will be 90+ lol

BlitzPsycho: +Jay Nines this is exactly the type of comment i was hoping to see. i realized i was somewhat wrong a while after i posted the comment above, and thought i would see a lot of hate speech directed at me. but instead, someone brings logic to the table. and yes, fun is subjective, which is why i even think that way in the first place. to me, the way Quinn talked about his time in the game, that isn't MY fun. to him, it is fun. I always enjoy Quinn's videos and livestreams, and i see he enjoys himself most of the time. perhaps my logic doesn't stem from the same place as a hardcore player like Quinn. but i believe that there is a point where the game would get repetitive, even for people like Quinn. though i do hope that hardcore people can understand that the people that can't spend every iota of free time with the game still want to be powerful, and not talk like anything under like GR 90 is the place where scrubs are. I'm not saying anyone means to sound like that, but there is that edge to what the pro players say, sometimes.

There was a sad thing with Woh, when legendary afix didn't affect with other mechanics in the game, so three repetitions of Blast from Woh for example didn't proc speed up of Warzchain Armguards. It would proc only if u broke something with your 1st Blast u cast by yourself with spending arcane. So if Blizz fixed it...then f*ck yeah I am gonna back to game!

Lavos2007: +nhat linh dragon wing actually, but close enouhg...and y ou dont just have to do the Set Dungeons, you have to complete the Mastery of them...if you just complete them WITHOUT doing it Mastery-style...you get a pair of dark green angel wings...the Dragon Wings are for completing all 24 dungeons with the Mastery completion which is a bit harder to do than just plain completing em Quin has an entire list of all the Dungeons and how to complete Mastery on then, a video for each and a shorter video where you can click to access any single 1
Sarnen: I should point out to starting wizards that this build is deceptively difficult and time intensive to use. Just run around Disintigrating with Firebirds if you're brand new. Even at P600+ levels this is remarkably difficult in practice to juggle all those buff uptimes, coupled with feeling like you're made of paper compared to DMO builds with Travellers jewelry.

Robert Fierce: +Zefn with this build any enemy which isn't elite or a boss dies in 1 push of a button of Explosive Blast. You don't need to worry about elites spawning because of this. Enemies keep dying around you as you pass by them and gold keeps pumping your armor so you're completely fine either way. No Ingeom does not mean no damage. It just means no zero cooldown. And if you use hoarder + 30% speed, Ice +30% speed, and cube the krelm +25% (combine that with ring/boots speed 12/12%) and you take a stroll of the entire rift map it's unreal.

Are they doing Greater Rifts at difficulty 6 for the Rift, or they doing Nephalim Rifts on difficulty Torment 6? If it is the latter, why do they stop at Torment 6, and not go into higher levels of Torment?
someone667: No idea if this guy bots or not, but it is more than possible in a 4 man seasonal team to get 700+ in a few days. You just need to get ANY set in the game for any class and 1-2 supporting items for said sets and you can run GR 50~ with crappy rolls. If you rolled well then you can easily go higher. As we all know.. getting a full set to drop in less than 5 hours is very possible, especially if you have a friend as the same class.

yoshoverse: i play season for the stash tab only and am stuck at the first conquest right now. i wanted to use this method to speed things up a bit. i have no idea why this doesn't work for me at all. i use tal rasha's head, neck, hands, waist and pants. firebird's shoulders, feet and offhand. the other slots are cindercoat, rorg and avarice band. the bracers are still ranslor's folly and need to be replaced. cubed are in geom, goldwrap and halo of arlyse. my paragons level is 469 and my legendary gems are boon of the hoarder, wreath of lightning and bane of the trapped. i get destroyed in TX rifts. stuff doesn't die, in geom runs out and my gold wrap buff expires. i took me forever to get the wand of woh and i was really looking forward to getting death's breath faster and maybe even getting the avarice conquest. what am i doing wrong?

This build is amazing when you have a lot of elites to kill, but if there's no elites around it becomes clunky and you can die easily.

Amfibios: as someone who's never played diablo (so i don't know exactly what's going on), this gameplay makes me cringe. i've played other arpgs like torchlight and even though all of them are grindy, this seems ridiculous. let me explain: in all arpgs i've played, no matter how good ur build is, in higher difficulties u'd have to use ur skills correctly, bait attacks, dodge etc and usually playing would involve clicking 4-5 skills or u'd get one shot. what i see here with my untrained eyes is someone running like the flash through myriads of monsters spamming basically 1 attack and 1 blink to move even faster. that's basically what has prevented me to try out this game and i wanna ask u ppl that like and play the game, is there more to it than it seems? do u like this gameplay? is it just "i get the required gear, make the OP build and then no matter if it's trash mobs, bosses or whatever, i just spam my rotation and move on"? because to me this seems as boring as working on an assembly line

Kags _: One thing, with the Wand of Woh, that would replicate the explosion of whatever rune you have equipped at the time right? Meaning with chain reaction you would explode 3 times from the skill, plus 3 times from the wand for 6 times of approx. 500% (without buffs) for a total of around 3000%. But if you equipped the Unleashed Rune that makes it deal almost 1500% wouldn't it then explode for 4 explosions of 1500% totaling almost 6000%? It wouldn't be fire damage anymore for the firebird set but if you changed the build You might be able to increase your damage. Would love a reply from anyone.

Lavos2007: +avan darkwalker yeah...RoRG as its referred to is probly one of the best Rings to extract in the Cube...cus the ring itself is usually pretty bad, no guaranteed socket and it has 3 fixed stat rolls meaning you CANNOT get 1 with all the necessary stats, so itsb etter to equip it in the Cube so you can use the powerful bonus of it and instead wear a more useful ring stat-wise the only downside to RoRG is the fact it has fixed Primary Stat, Life on Hit and Attack Speed rolls...which means its hard to get a truly useful one in termso f stats...of course some people use it anyway because its Legendary Power is so useful but itsb est to Cube it and use it from there, then you can wear a ring wiht much better stats without losing any benefits

Sir Moke: I force myself to pick up 90% of the dropped stuff... And don't go crazy on re-rolling. If you really need you can always convert whites(easiest to farm). I always finish a rift with at least 1 full inv(more with gobs) and with 3-5 min rifts I don't have mat/db problems
