Where as the furnace is only 50% against elites. Even if you said flying dragon only has a 50% uptime it would be a 41% damage increase at all times. Still far better than furnace.

64. AM Fitness: I'm not on the PTR or I wouldn't really have to ask b/c I have the items to run both efficiently but thanks for the reply. It would seem to me even with the slight nerf to CC cold would offer more survival over the long haul. I started thinking how stacking the same elemental % dam on gear has diminishing returns (in the fire set up it's possible u can stack to 80%!) and I have this godly Tyreal's Might just sitting there for over a year with 20% dam to demons and thought hey most of the monsters are demons :) anyways not to ramble but yeah thinking of replacing the Cindercoat b/c to me 20% fire dam has diminishing returns.

The thing is, Im critting like 100mln - 2bil depends how much spirit I have, the difference is very huge when you are not at 100% spirit. So be sure to check crits when having 100% spirit at the time.

Instead of going fire equips, cindecoat, magefist etc. I did go for 4 set of Innas, but i noticed I'm quite squishy/fragile instead of getting more tougher due to mantras, you can test my build and post your comments, +Quin C you can check also if you have time or rather if you can post another alternative sets for Spirit gen build. But, add the fact that the secondary effect of Shenlong's us a separate multiplier. further doubling the damage to a total of a 1128% boost! So, Quin can potentially deal over 12x damage with this build! MATH TIME'S OVER

I have used the God monk video build of Quin but not sure if its paragons or just weapons dmg but i dont have as much as damage as him, mine dmg is 700k his is 1.7m almost same items.

MrSteviegall: i havent tried the build with flying dragon and with season 4 starting tomorrow i likely wont until i get everything there but have you tried shenlongs with burst of wrath cubed, it gives you a chance of geting 20% your primary resource when killing/destroying an object ive seen the draining phase of shenlongs lasting through whole mob groups
178. Burak Ertug: This is near impossible to play without unity. I know u made your points (and they were accurate) about how we should play but with above average gear without unity, 55+ became a nightmare for me. It's a pain to get used to epiphany teleport and u were not joking on max cdr u need epiphany at all times. If u stack cdr without godly Shenlong's ur in for trouble in terms of dps. In sheet, parthian bracers help if u dont get spiked down (1-2 shotted) but diminishing returns fucks that up pretty bad. And forget about witching hour, u need survivability as fuck so string of ears is the way to go. For anyone wondering, u must get gear like quin69 to get past 55+. It's my humble opinion, there must be people who did better than me but i think 150k of these viewers will feel like i do. Great job as always quin, love the channel.

180. Quintin Crawford: +lex1247 that setup has alot more elemental elite damage than the fire build (by a large amount due to the fact that the cold gens scale way better) but because of fires huge AOE cone, its really hard to compete

219. pittothebull: Herro! I've been running season 4 now for a week - first time playing since the auction house was around. I'm quite impressed by the additions and it has been a fun time killer for me. That being said - I had a few specifics about your build. First - thanks for taking the time to update the build on diablofans. I had a hard time finding the fist of AZ, and so I landed with this build instead of the SSS build. i seem to like it a lot better. So here is what I'm doing different. I am keeping the 2 set bonus for ulianas - for the exploding palm. It is helping me with density. Second, I rerolled a lot of CDR on my items, but I am findign that the area damage is much better, so I'm rerolling back to AD to help me clear trash easier. Third variation is using BP with low CHC on my items 9% - and 500% CHD. This helps with clearing trash easier, and since I was able to get lower CHC, this seemed to work better for me. Gems are simplicity,trapped,stricken. I am able to do t10 rifts with no problem, it just takes anywhere from 7-10 minutes. I wonder how I can funnel more damage through. I've switched my build about a dozen times, not sure how to do more damage. http://us.battle.net/d3/profile/pitbull-1878/hero/67014291 < For reference. Any suggestions? I tried them with my crusader and it didn't work until I switched to skills that actually stunned enemies (or my gear is not good or the game is still trolling me like when my monk had 4% magic find without any gear)

This gen build dmg is pretty much based on shenlong dmg amplifier, and first buff gives 300+ * 1.5% dmg ONLY to generator, and because of that tornados with sweeping hit for very low.

256. Jason Foreman: Is there a reason that Convention of Elements is better than Overwhelming Desire? The proc rate on Overwhelming Desire is ~6% with no internal cooldown discovered by testing (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/16285108977) and the duration is 3 secs. That means I should proc about once every 16-17 hits. My attack speed for this build without Flying Dragon is 1.85 attacks/sec. I should proc overwhelming desire for 3 secs about once every 9 secs for a 35% damage increase for the target that applies to me and all other players. So that's a 35% overall damage buff 33% of the time which averages to an 11.5% overall damage buff. You also get damage reduction too though because the charmed enemies don't attack you. Convention of Elements gives you a 200% buff for 4 secs in every 20 secs. Which averages as a 40% buff for you only. But with 4 people in the team that's a 10% buff overall. If you figure one of those 4 people is a support monk that does no damage, it's a 13% buff which is a little better than Overwhelming Desire but with no accompanying damage reduction. With Flying Dragon, Overwhelming Desire should proc twice as often and it would be far superior. I can confirm that Overwhelming Desire does proc on elite packs. I don't think it procs on rift guardians though which seems to be it's only drawback.
257. Euphytose: This is exactly what I wanted for a build as a Monk. It's my second least played class with the Wizard but as soon as I get good shenlong's I'm going to try and do this, with a bit more caution on HC though.

There was several moments where my EP disapeared during seven-sided strike. is thise my extreme noobness or an actual bug. Help me master.

On this particular build, Crit hit damage is valued over Area Damage only on the neck, but it is preferred to have crit hit damage on rings over crit hit chance.

Heath Gullery: Nice guide Quin, I have a build similar to that ready for 2.4 - just need the spirit guards to become non-season.  Nice work with the cyclone strike/parthians damage reduction, using that on d3 planner puts the eHP in the billions!.  Hard to get enough cdr for 100% uptime on epiphany thorugh, I'm currently at 94% uptime using a vigilante belt.  Good call dropping dashing strike, I'll have to get used to that, thanks man for the guide.
