  1. Non à l'homophobie: The yes won... SSM is now a thing in Australia... Sorry !
  2. Jay Double Gee: Just Me Nope
  3. Bahaa Badri: No no no , but already yes, evil wining god lost...!
  4. Adapple: albus masculinum firstly, I didn't say anything about wanting female genital mutilation, I'm against all forms of genital mutilation. I didn't say you wanted censorship, I said that AntiFa wants to censor others. Going from "yes to same sex marriage" to "wanting to cut vaginas" is stupid and backwards logic. Muslims make up 2.6% of the population, also. I don't want any special rights, I would like to get rid of censorship from all sides. I don't bash any beliefs, I believe in religious freedom.

  6. 27Cheesy91: Rogue Male No I repeat... I simply want to see a logical argument against same sex marriage. You have not provided that except say it's a leftist agenda and you believe it's not natural. I'm sorry but that is just an emotional response and utterly worthless in a debate. Now... if you are coming from a religious stand point no one can help you because you can believe whatever fairy tale you wish to justify how you feel about this topic. However if you are looking at this from a logical, practical, empirical, stand point there is (as far as I've found and as far as you have shown) no reason to be against it. The real question is: Do you see homosexuality/gay marriage as immoral...?
  7. atheistsrnumber1: How intolerant of you
  8. Adapple: Cool, but am I going to vote yes for illiteracy as well? All joking aside, what would gay marriage do to society which would negatively impact it? Same-sex marriage is based on different values when compared to bestiality and pedophilia, and these values are already in effect in Australia. It's about adult consent (which they have), you don't need to have children by law, and babies wouldn't be fucked up; trauma from pedophilia, and recessive genetic conditions from incest. Gay couples can already adopt in 7/8 states and territories anyway, so children wouldn't be a problem. We are voting for one specific law, not many other potential future laws. Voting for public funding for churches doesn't mean that we will also have to fund cults.
  9. 27Cheesy91: So sad to see such small minds commenting. It is really quite worrying to see the lack of education in Australia today. Many countries around the world have gay marriage and the sky hasn't fallen in. There is no good argument for voting against samesex marriage...If you don't believe me I would be happy to be challenged on it... Go!
  10. 27Cheesy91: Adapple That's my point there is no "Oh look you have that gene and so you must be gay." However there are genes that seem to play a more important role in attraction and sexuality and like you said certain hormones that the foetus is exposed to in the womb.
